This workshop will focus on using art to create positive social change.
Kiowa-Choctaw artist and filmmaker Steven Paul Judd will present on how he and other artists use their craft to draw attention to important social issues and spur people to act.
Judd is one of Indian Country’s hottest artists and filmmakers. His pop-inspired artwork often combines American Indian imagery and themes with popular films, games, and books, to create thought-provoking works providing social commentary with a sense of humor. Check out his work on Facebook and Instagram.
The workshop is designed for artists 12 years and older, and is free for students with ID, or a $5 suggested donation for the general public. Space is limited. Email Helen Goodteacher to reserve your spot in this workshop.
